Parish Activities Awareness Seminars November 11, 2006 Lecture about the part of the parents in the religious education February 23, 2006 The Matrimony Meeting held in the Church with all fiancés from the catholic churches in Bethlehem February 20, 2006 Preparation for first communion and confirmation Sacrament February 19, 2006 A trip for married couples was organized to Jericho Saturday, Dec 17, 2005 A meeting was held at the Catholic Action for couples married during the years 2000- 2005. The meeting which was held during the festive days of Christmas, it included: -Welcome speech by Father François. -Distribution of Christmas gifts to families and their children -Folklore dances by “Ihia Baladna” -Bingo -Dinner Father Amjad was thanked for his tremendous efforts in helping young married couples. Sunday, May 22, 2005 All newly married couples participated in the 11 o’clock   Sunday Mass  and then had lunch at the Catholic Action where Father Amjad spoke about the role of Christian families in the church, parish and society. Under the patronage of Father Amjad ,a number of other meetings were held for couples married in the year 2003 including lunch at Ortas Monastry and other meetings at the CAB. A course/ Program for Children preparing to receive the First Eucharist and  Sacrament of Confirmation. Part of the parish activities for this year includes preparing children to receive the First Eucharist and Sacrament of Confirmation through a certain course that would assist them in understanding the sacraments especially those effecting them directly such as, Baptism, conformation, reconciliation, etc Friday, Nov 11, 2005 On Friday, Nov 11, 2005 a meeting was held for couples married during the years 2000- 2005 in The Catholic Action of Bethlehem where Father Amjad spoke about the challenges that our Christian families face especially young married couples. Father Amjad stressed the importance of increased understanding and unity among families of the parish. This meeting included readings from the Bible and later suggestions for new activities.
